🎯 UNLESS Collective launched, aiming to be the first streetwear brand whose products leave zero waste at their end of life.
⭐️ Luxury fashion brand Chloé became the first luxury Maison to certify as a B Corporation.
⭐️ Iceland has pledged to become plastic neutral with launch of a new plastic recovery programme. It’s partnering with Seven Clean Seas to collect the equivalent to their plastic footprint. However, this comes as they admitted that they may not achieve their target of eliminating plastic from own-label packaging by the end of 2023.
⭐️ Waitrose announced that its trialling wirelessly charged electric delivery vans in London, in a bid to be at the forefront of ‘green home delivery’.
⭐️ Unilever brand Knorr announced it will launch 50 regenerative agriculture projects across the world, aiming to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and water usage of each project by 30%. This investment stems from their €1 billion Climate and Nature Fund.
⭐️ Allbirds made its stock market debut on Wednesday. Founded in 2015, Allbirds said it would tap the public markets through what it described a "sustainable public equity offering" as an environmental, social and governance, or ESG, company. Valuation is now above $4 billion.

⚡️ Meet the Knowvember Brands: When in Rome
Mission: 39% of the wine industry’s emissions globally are caused by single use glass bottles. All of When in Rome’s wines are sold in eco-friendly packaging that generates up to 10x less CO2 than single use glass bottles. We overtly state the climate footprint of each of our wines on the packaging for maximum transparency.
Targets: Having only just very recently calculated the footprint of our products, WiR is in the process of establishing realistic targets. Our initial analysis of the climate impact of our supply chain in particular, suggests there is a large scope to further reduce our emissions. We do know however that we prefer to concentrate on emissions reduction as opposed to aiming for net zero, as we believe this is the most transparent approach.

Status: Climate Positive
Targets: We are certified Carbon Neutral Plus (offsetting twice as much carbon as we produce), and are planning to be Net Zero by 2030.
